First AYUSH KAYAKALP Award

The State-Level Inspection Committee selected the award based on the evaluation of cleanliness, waste management, infection control, and infrastructure facilities in healthcare institutions.

Keezhallur Homoeo Dispensary secured the second position with 94.58% marks and received a consolation prize of ₹30,000, along with the award and a certificate of appreciation.

The sincere efforts of the Panchayat, staff, and local residents made the hospital deserving of this achievement.

Several initiatives contributed to this recognition, including:

  • a paperless online system for patient care and medicine distribution,
  • yoga training programs conducted at the institution and various yoga clubs in the Panchayat,
  • a palliative home-visit project for bedridden patients,  
  • numerous medical camps and disease prevention activities,
  • waste management through IMAGE, 

and the establishment of a yoga hall, medicinal plant garden, reading corner, awareness IEC corner, and other basic facilities within the institution.
