Keezhallur Grama Panchayat Honoured by the District Planning Committee
Keezhallur Grama Panchayat has been honoured by the District Planning Committee (DPC) for securing second place at the district level in the implementation of the 2025–26 Annual Plan and fund utilization.
The recognition reflects the Panchayat's commitment to effective planning and the timely implementation of development projects, enabling it to emerge as a model among local self-government institutions.
The honour was presented during the District Planning Committee meeting held on 3 July 2026. In the presence of the Hon'ble District Collector, Panchayat President C. Sajeevan and Secretary Aji S. received the award from the President of the District Panchayat.
The Panchayat President expressed gratitude to all implementing officers and Panchayat staff whose dedication and collective efforts made this achievement possible.
This recognition comes in addition to the State-level award recently received by the Panchayat for its outstanding waste management initiatives, further highlighting its commitment to excellence in local governance and public service.
