PANCHAYATH MAP
Under Notification No. LSGD/PD/24269/2024-EER1 dated 06/09/2024, published in Extraordinary Gazette No. 2888 dated 07/09/2024 by the Directorate of Local Self Government Department (Rural), the number of seats to be filled through direct election in Keezhallur Grama Panchayat of Kannur district was fixed as 16. Based on this, draft proposals for dividing the said Grama Panchayat into 16 constituencies and determining the boundaries of those constituencies were published through Notification No. SDC/995/2024/SDC6 dated 18.11.2024.
Time was allowed until 04.12.2024 for submitting objections and opinions regarding the said proposals. The objections and opinions received were examined, the complainants were heard in person, and after considering and disposing of the same, final orders are hereby issued under Section 10 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, dividing Keezhallur Grama Panchayat into 16 constituencies and determining their boundaries as shown in the schedule attached herewith.
